How does BimmerBlend know how much fuel is in my tank?
BimmerBlend can work from your inputs and, on supported BMWs, guides you to the vehicle's hidden-menu tank measurements. Calibration can then learn from real fills to better reflect the usable capacity of your car.
Do I need a flex-fuel sensor?
No. BimmerBlend is designed to be useful without additional hardware. For the most accurate blend, test the ethanol content of the fuel at the pump rather than assuming every E85 fill has the same ethanol percentage.
Does BimmerBlend work offline?
Core vehicle, calculation, calibration, and fill-history data is designed to remain local to your device. Features that depend on nearby places or other online services may require a connection.
Which BMW models are supported?
BimmerBlend includes a growing BMW vehicle catalog with chassis-specific tank information and guidance where supported. Exact features can vary by chassis and model year.
Is Android coming?
Yes. Android development is underway. The current public beta is available through Apple TestFlight on iOS.
